“How To Get Your Motorcycle Up and Running - The Shop Manual For All Years Makes and Models”
By Leigh & Randy Ellis
Leigh and Randy Ellis opened “the world’s smallest motorcycle repair shop” in 1985. By the time they’d been in business a week, they had a line of 25 bikes in front of their shop and every one of them needed to be made to run. They quickly realized that people just didn’t know how to take care of their motorcycles and no shop seemed to be willing to educate them. So they started thinking of ways to do this. Then Leigh came up with the idea of writing a manual that anyone could use. A manual that would not just show how to get a non-running motorcycle up and running, but also how to keep it running right. So that is what they did.
Drawing upon Randy's decades of experience working on all years makes and models of motorcycles, and Leigh's ability to write, they took a year to write the book and another year to format it and get it ready for publishing.
Randy said, “The reason for writing this book is that people need help doing their own motorcycle repairs. In this manual, we’ve given them all the tips, tricks and trade secrets while saving them the maximum amount of time, money and effort.”
Their new book "How To Get Your Motorcycle Up & Running - The Shop Manual For All Years Makes & Models” is now available at their shop in Everett, Washington, on their Web site at, www.getitrunning.com, and through Amazon.com.
